My mother-in-law would make these delicious meatballs for events and gathering and I thought they were the most mouth-watering pieces of beefy goodness. Over the years I have changed the recipe, but only slightly. These meatballs are perfect for parties and pot-lucks. You will be surprised how easy they are to make.

To spruce up the recipe, I added shredded cheese. My easy meatball recipe gets a little zestier when you add Stella Parmesan cheese. Holiday cheese recipes don’t have to just be a cheese and crackers. There is something wonderful about having adding cheese to your traditional holiday recipes.
My local grocery store had some amazing Stella cheese to choose from. The cheeses are rich and full of flavor. With an Italian history of traditional cheesemaking, Stella® cheese is the perfect addition to these meatballs.
- 2.5 Pounds Ground Beef
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 Chopped Bell Pepper
- 3/4 Cup Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 large Egg
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp granulated Parmesan
- 1 tsp Ground Basil
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 Bottle BBQ Sauce
- 1 cup Stella Parmesan Cheese
- 6 Buns optional
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients, soy, sauce, two tablespoons of BBQ sauce and beef
Add onions, peppers, egg, and milk, mix thoroughly.
Heat a skillet with oil
Shape your meatballs (about 1 inch)
Add meatballs, and cook, flipping occasionally, 20 to 25 minutes
Add BBQ sauce to the meatballs
Garnish with fresh Stella Parmesan Cheese
These can be prepared in the slow cooker as well. Place meatballs in a slow cooker. Combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 4 hours on HIGH.
You can garnish these with shredded cheese and serve on a toothpick as appetizers. These
