My AdoramaPix metal prints have arrived. About a month ago I was given the opportunity to order metal prints from this company AdoramaPix . I was curious because I had no clue what a metal print was nor how it would come out. I must say the timing was perfect because I was looking to order those popular large size canvas pictures of our wedding and my sweet little guy. The company gave me the option of choosing my sizes between 11X17 and 8X10, however, since it is printed on metal my finish had to be in white. Before I begin my review let me first disclose that these products were sent to me at no cost for my honest review.

My Experience with AdoramaPix Metal Prints
The process for ordering my prints was very simple. I went online to AdoramaPix.com under Home Decor, then Create Metal Print. Next, I chose my finish. As I mentioned, because it is going on metal the company suggested using only the white finish to ensure the color would be accurate. Here are the two photos I chose to use.
The first picture is from our wedding and was taken by our professional photographer. The second picture is of our son the day he was born and was taken on my iPhone 4S, I changed the filter to black and white before I uploaded it to AdoramaPix.com .
I picked an Oval shaped 11 X 17 ($44.95) for our wedding photo with a white satin finish and an 8 X 10 ($29.00) glossy finish for our son. No worries about which finish picking because the website has a description to help you decide which is best based on the type of photo you are uploading.
It said delivery would 4-6 weeks, however, I ordered my 10/27 and they were shipped 10/30! I received them by 11/4. So processing was speedy and shipping was fast it is also free for orders over $39. I was impressed and excited to open my box.
Sorry, I don’t have a picture of the boxing, but they came securely packaged and undamaged. The prints came with screws so that you can mount them to your walls. I will not be drilling or nailing into my walls so I won’t be using the accompanying mounting options.
I think the prints were nice and true to the original images. My favorite is the picture of our son.
A special thank you to AdoramaPix for allowing me to try the product and express my opinion. I did like the prints and will be hanging them around my house once I purchase some Command hooks. These make for a unique Christmas gift and especially great gifts for those photographers in your life. If you know anyone that has a special piece of artwork they have been working on or a special photo this would be a wonderful way to surprise them. The uniqueness of metal being scratch resist is awesome! These are raised off the surface and not flat. I should have to take a better picture. Those are nice! I’ve only tried printing on metal once and it turned out pretty neat. It was a picture of a rusted bolt my husband liked that we saw on the beach. I think he still has it at work.
