2018 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring | Perfect for Singles and College Drivers

We had a jammed packed month. March was crazy busy, from my husband’s stageplay to both kids needing to register for pre-school and high school, we have been all over the place. It helps when you can whip around the city in a stylish vehicle.  The  2018 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring is a beautiful vehicle that comes fully loaded and for its small size, it brings a powerful punch.

At first glance, this vehicle looks like your standard crossover hatchback, but look a little closer and you will find it is jammed with more than the average trim.

My Thoughts on the 2018 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring

This car is beyond amazing on gas. I had the car drove for 1.5 weeks,  daily (my usual commute), a little more and I filled up once. I really liked driving this car for the time I had it.  Mazda builds vehicles that add the smallest details that can make the biggest impact.

I loved the leather interior and small attentions to perfections paid on the interior of the car.

There is never a dull moment when navigating traffic in Chicago. I think the  2018 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring is a great vehicle for college student or singles. The truck is spacious and one of the key things I look for in a car is full backseat. I love a car that looks small but still packs enough space for 3 passengers in the backseat.

My Recommendation

While I love this hatchback, the only drawback was that it would be too small for a family.  I have a toddler so when our car seat was installed it was too close to the front, leaving little leg room for my son.

I could see my daughter driving this car around during her high school, college, and single years. Navigation is simple to use and love that everything is handsfree so it makes me feel more comfortable to let her loose on the road.

Mazda has this car equipped with great safety features.  When the vehicle is moving above 19 mph, Distance Recognition Support System measures the distance between your car and the one ahead and recommends a safe following distance. With blind spot monitoring system and cross-traffic alert smart brake support and much more, it lowers your chances of a collision.

One of my favorite features is the MAZDA CONNECT™ Infotainment System. With voice command, cell phone hook -up and an amazing navigation system, you don’t have to drive while distracted.

It is great as long as you are out of the car seat stage. It was a little cramped for out car seat, but other than that it seats 5 with a full backseat which is what I love.

What a sweet car. Love the aesthetics, and the size is perfect for me. I also really like that it’s good on gas. This is a car I will be keeping on my radar for sure.

This is a great looking car! I am loving all of the features it has with it, I am all for as safe as possible when my kids start driving. I am a few years away from that, but I will take all of the safety features available when that time comes.

This car is stylish and sporty. I can totally see it for a collage student as you said. I think it would make parents feel at ease too especially with the safety features like distance recognition.

That looks like a fun car to take on a couples weekend. With the family in tow I would have to look at something bigger from Mazda.
